Lovely Love Love Love Day :]

Valentines Day=MY FAVORITE DAY ALL YEAR.

I mean, I know you'd think that since I rarely like girlie things and never say girlie stuff, that I wouldn't like Valentines Day (especially this year) but no, I think it's a glorious day.

I also know that there are a lot of people, several of my own guy friends, who think it's just a dumb Hallmark holiday with no past or reason. Even if in history, that day means next to nothing, a whole day dedicated to love CAN'T BE BAD... right?

Then there is always that argument that you should show love EVERYDAY and be appreciative of your significant ones EVERYDAY, and that it is so true. But shouldn't you be glad someone was born everyday, not just on their birthday? Shouldn't we honor our Mothers and Fathers everyday, not just on Mother's and Father's days? And the fact of the matter is, we all show love way more often than one day a year, so everyone needs to get off this SINGLE'S AWARENESS crap. Seriously, I mean, granted it is harder to be happy on February 14th every year if you don't have someone to be happy with, but it doesn't mean you have to be such a jerk and make the day a sad one for other people.

So for Valentines Day, Jon and I lay around our apartment all day. We did some homework, kissed, watched TV, whatever. Then when he was done with his homework, we went to Yum! Yum! China with Dontae, and went and saw Valentines Day. (SUPER CUTE MOVIE, I'd recommend you go see it). Then, later in the evening, we went to Jon's mommy's house and ate and hung out for a bit. Then we went to my parent's house and played Rockband and pitch with my sisters, and watched the NBA All-Star game (because for some reason every Valentines Day, we watch basketball?), then we went to WalMart and got sick stuff (well, I guess get better stuff) and we came home and Jon made me tea, and he put honey in it, so it was nummy.
Overall, it was fun, cute, carefree day.

:] Here is how cute we areeeee.

(2008, we went out to Pita Jungle with Angel and Sean, and went to Jon's cousin, Charlie's, basketball game *our first real valentines*)

(2009- I had JUST gotten home from Hawaii, he took me ice skating and out to dinner, and we watched a movie)

(2010- dinner, a movie, and family time)

I genuinely cannot wait for 2/14/2011 <3

(I know, two posts in one day, a bit excessive.... but whatever, it deserves it's own post.)
